Pins in your motherboard socket broken, bent, crooked or snapped off by DIY attempts? Unfortunately this happens very quickly – a careless moment during installation is all it takes. There are only a few BGA repair shops like us that specialize in the CPU socket replacement service. LGA sockets aren't swapped as easily as regular BGA microchips. There are various reasons for this – in any case it requires a lot of experience and specialized tools when the CPU socket is defective. Our success rate for this repair is 100% – since 2015.
We repair and replace CPU sockets on motherboards of all common platforms: Intel LGA 1156, LGA 1155, LGA 1150, LGA 1151, LGA 1200, LGA 1366, LGA 1700, LGA 1851, LGA 2011, LGA 2011-v3, LGA 2066 as well as AMD socket AM5. Motherboards with OC sockets (e.g. ASUS LGA 2011-v3 with 2084 pins) are also no problem for us. If the damage to the number of gold pins in the LGA socket is too great to guarantee a visually clean result, the entire socket is replaced with a factory-new one. Sometimes a CPU socket defect affects only 1 or 2 broken pins in the socket – even here we are able to renew the socket by replacing these individual pins. However, we usually only do this in special exceptional cases as it can be more time-consuming.
If socket pins are only bent and can be brought back to a proper position, we prefer that, because ultimately you want your motherboard repaired and we'll make sure of that. Whether it's an Intel socket repair or an AMD socket repair, the different chipsets like Z590, Z690, Z790, B650, X670, X870 etc. don't play a role for us.
ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock or Supermicro – we work manufacturer-independently. Your motherboard doesn't have to be disassembled before shipping; on request we'll take care of proper disassembly and reassembly. A brief function test after every repair is included.

Can a damaged CPU socket on the motherboard be repaired?
Yes. We straighten bent pins in the socket or replace the entire socket with a brand new one if the damage is too severe.
Do I need to disassemble my motherboard first?
No. We handle professional disassembly and reassembly for €29 on request.
Will my motherboard be tested afterwards?
Yes, we only skip testing if no test CPU is available or you did not send a processor. Usually we have a suitable CPU for all common sockets.
Do you also repair PCI-E slots or other damage?
PCI-E slots can be challenging. It is feasible but very time-consuming. Whether it is worthwhile depends on the current used value of the board. We can assess these individually. Feel free to send an inquiry.

Durchtrennte Leiterbahnen werden mittels Kupferlackdraht (Jumper-Wire) überbrückt – funktional zuverlässig, jedoch nicht optisch makellos.
Anzahlung: 29,00 € Brutto zzgl. Rückversandkosten. Restbetrag erst nach erfolgreicher Reparatur. Bei Misserfolg: nur Anzahlung + Rückversand einbehalten.

We only collect personal data to the extent necessary to operate this website, to provide our services — CPU pin repair, motherboard CPU socket repair, micro-soldering & PCB-trace repair, and buyback of defective hardware (EU-wide) — and to fulfil contracts. Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation, e.g. retention requirements) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest, e.g. fraud prevention).
3. Server Log Files
When you visit this site, our hosting provider automatically logs data such as date/time, requested page, browser type and a shortened IP address. This data is used for technical operation and security; it is deleted or anonymised within 7 days at the latest.
4. Contact & Order Form
When you contact us via our form or place a repair order, a soldering enquiry or a hardware buyback request, we process — among other data — your name, email address, optionally a phone number, shipping and return address, hardware details, damage description and any photos you upload. For soldering orders we additionally process case-related data for the fixed-price agreement (token ID for the offer and remaining-balance email links, deposit and repair status). For bank-transfer payments we also process the transmitted payment data. This data is used to process your enquiry or order (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). After completion, data is deleted unless statutory retention periods apply (tax law: 10 years; commercial law: 6 years).
5. Reviews
When you submit a review, your name (or chosen display name) and review text will be publicly shown on this site. Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time by email to the address above.
6. Payment Processing
We use PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg) and bank transfer. 7. Shipping
To return repaired or purchased hardware we transmit your shipping address to DHL (Deutsche Post DHL Group). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
8. Hosting
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Data is stored exclusively in EU data centres.
9. Cookies, visitor statistics and reach measurement
Cookies: Technically necessary session cookies are set only during an order and deleted at the end of the session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or third-party analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics, Matomo).
Own reach measurement: For statistical evaluation of our offering, we collect the following data server-side — without cookies, without local storage and without accessing your device: page accessed, approximate origin based on your browser language setting (Accept-Language header), device type (mobile/tablet/computer), referring website (referrer) and time spent on page. To distinguish repeat visits within one day, we create a short hash from your IP address, browser identifier and the current date. The IP address itself is not stored; the hash is automatically deleted after no more than 24 hours. Identification of individuals is not possible. Data is processed exclusively on our server in the EU and not shared with third parties.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the statistical reach measurement of our own offering). The measurement is exempt from consent under § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG (formerly TTDSG), as no cookies or comparable storage technologies are used on your device for tracking purposes.
Right to object: You can object to this processing at any time under Art. 21 GDPR — an informal email to kontakt@reusing-factory.de is sufficient. Alternatively, you can disable JavaScript in your browser; no measurement will then take place.
