Soldering & PCB Trace Repair – Circuit Board Repair Under the Microscope
Our soldering service focuses exclusively on manual and mechanical circuit board repair at component level. We do not perform electronic fault finding, circuit diagram analysis or classic schematic diagnosis. Our service is aimed at customers who already know which component is defective or where a visible mechanical defect exists. We do not track down invisible faults – we carry out precise micro-soldering to replace damaged components or restore severed PCB traces.
Our soldering service comes into play when physical damage needs to be repaired. We handle PCB trace and SMD repair as well as connector soldering – from USB port repair to HDMI connector soldering on gaming consoles (Switch, PlayStation, Xbox). On motherboards and graphics cards we bridge one or more severed traces or replace defective SMD LEDs. We do repair mechanical damage on GPUs but do not fix black screens or graphical artefacts. The focus is on replacing defective electronic components (capacitor replacement) and restoring broken PCB traces. If you want to have a retro console, a mixing desk or something entirely different repaired, get in touch and we will look at your photos. If your mouse scroll wheel jumps erratically or skips multiple lines while scrolling, we can help by professionally replacing the defective scroll encoder (rotary encoder). We also replace headphone jacks. A broken amplifier that will not power on, however, falls outside our scope as it requires schematic diagnosis.
Every circuit board repair is carried out as a high-precision microscope repair. To reliably reconnect one or more adjacent severed traces, we use ultra-fine enamelled copper wire (jumper wire). Transparency is important to us: such a bypass restores the electrical connection but does not produce an optically flawless appearance – the repair will be visible. You receive honest craftsmanship from us instead of false promises.
Our process – simple and fair
Send us an enquiry with clear photos of the mechanical damage or the component to be replaced. You will then receive an individual fixed-price offer. After a deposit of €29 + return shipping, you send us the device and we carry out the agreed micro-soldering work. You only pay the remaining amount when the repair is successful.
Important: If the repair fails or the device does not function due to another electronic defect not covered by our repair, we retain only the €29 deposit plus return shipping for our effort. We return your device promptly in this case. Return shipping is retained in all cases – including withdrawal after receipt of goods – since we must ship the device back regardless. This keeps your risk manageable and predictable.

What does a soldering or PCB trace repair cost?
We quote the fixed price after we've seen your photos. Up front there's only a deposit of €29 + return shipping; you pay the balance only after a successful repair.
What exactly do you solder?
Mechanical board-level repair under the microscope: bridging severed PCB traces, swapping connectors (USB, HDMI, jack), replacing SMD components and capacitors (recapping) – on motherboards, graphics cards, consoles (Switch, PlayStation, Xbox) and retro hardware.
What happens if the repair fails?
Then we keep only the €29 deposit + return shipping for the work involved and send your device back straight away. That, however, is the rare exception.
Will a PCB trace repair look like new?
No. We bridge severed traces with ultra-thin enamelled copper wire (jumper wire). That reliably restores function but stays visible – honest craftsmanship instead of false promises. We do, however, seal the finished result.
Which devices do you not repair?
No 230 V mains-powered devices, no battery-powered devices, no BGA reballing, no pure schematic diagnosis without a visible defect, no drones, e-scooters, car control units, medical equipment, lifts or smoke detectors.
How does a soldering or trace repair request work?
You send us photos and a description of the damage, we name a fixed price. Once you accept, you pay the €29 deposit + return shipping and send the device in; you pay the balance only after a successful repair.

Ich hatte den Lötservice bzw. Leiterbahn, weil bei mir mehrere Schichten durch waren. Die Elektronik habe ich selbst hin bekommen, aber kein Equipment für Leiterbahnen. Das wäre mir auch zu fummelig gewesen. Sieht gut aus 😊 Die Grafikkarte lebt wieder 👌 thx

Durchtrennte Leiterbahnen werden mittels Kupferlackdraht (Jumper-Wire) überbrückt – funktional zuverlässig, jedoch nicht optisch makellos.
Anzahlung: 29,00 € Brutto zzgl. Rückversandkosten. Restbetrag erst nach erfolgreicher Reparatur. Bei Misserfolg: nur Anzahlung + Rückversand einbehalten.
Widerrufsverzicht (§ 356 Abs. 4 BGB): Mit Annahme des Angebots beginnt die Dienstleistung auf ausdrücklichen Wunsch des Kunden vor Ablauf der Widerrufsfrist. Das Widerrufsrecht erlischt bei vollständiger Erbringung. Rückversandkosten werden in jedem Fall einbehalten.

We only collect personal data to the extent necessary to operate this website, to provide our services — CPU pin repair, motherboard CPU socket repair, micro-soldering & PCB-trace repair, and buyback of defective hardware (EU-wide) — and to fulfil contracts. Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation, e.g. retention requirements) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest, e.g. fraud prevention).
3. Server Log Files
When you visit this site, our hosting provider automatically logs data such as date/time, requested page, browser type and a shortened IP address. This data is used for technical operation and security; it is deleted or anonymised within 7 days at the latest.
4. Contact & Order Form
When you contact us via our form or place a repair order, a soldering enquiry or a hardware buyback request, we process — among other data — your name, email address, optionally a phone number, shipping and return address, hardware details, damage description and any photos you upload. For soldering orders we additionally process case-related data for the fixed-price agreement (token ID for the offer and remaining-balance email links, deposit and repair status). For bank-transfer payments we also process the transmitted payment data. This data is used to process your enquiry or order (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). After completion, data is deleted unless statutory retention periods apply (tax law: 10 years; commercial law: 6 years).
5. Reviews
When you submit a review, your name (or chosen display name) and review text will be publicly shown on this site. Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time by email to the address above.
6. Payment Processing
We use PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg) and bank transfer. For PayPal payments, the necessary transaction data is transmitted directly to PayPal. For details see PayPal's privacy policy: paypal.com/en/privacy-full. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
7. Shipping
To return repaired or purchased hardware we transmit your shipping address to DHL (Deutsche Post DHL Group). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
8. Hosting
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Data is stored exclusively in EU data centres.
9. Cookies, visitor statistics and reach measurement
Cookies: Technically necessary session cookies are set only during an order and deleted at the end of the session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or third-party analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics, Matomo).
Own reach measurement: For statistical evaluation of our offering, we collect the following data server-side — without cookies, without local storage and without accessing your device: page accessed, approximate origin based on your browser language setting (Accept-Language header), device type (mobile/tablet/computer), referring website (referrer) and time spent on page. To distinguish repeat visits within one day, we create a short hash from your IP address, browser identifier and the current date. The IP address itself is not stored; the hash is automatically deleted after no more than 24 hours. Identification of individuals is not possible. Data is processed exclusively on our server in the EU and not shared with third parties.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the statistical reach measurement of our own offering). The measurement is exempt from consent under § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG (formerly TTDSG), as no cookies or comparable storage technologies are used on your device for tracking purposes.
Right to object: You can object to this processing at any time under Art. 21 GDPR — an informal email to kontakt@reusing-factory.de is sufficient. Alternatively, you can disable JavaScript in your browser; no measurement will then take place.
